Replicas
of original icons from the Middle Ages, originating in design
from Bulgaria,
Greece, Russia, and Italy. Each icon is hand carved from hard
wood, and frames an
image created by
a multi-layered technique. Individually painted, most of the icons
are supplemented with gold and silver overlay. All icons are made in
Bulgaria.
A certificate of authenticity is on the reverse side of
each icon.
All icons are three dimensional.
